Maple and Birch tree pruning is approaching.
Maple and Birch trees should be pruned mid-summer, typically in July throughout August. This is to minimize the loss of sap at the opening of a pruning cut and to allow the energy from the root system to reach the leaves.

Wet weather & irrigation
If you have an irrigation system that does not have a rain sensor, be sure to make proper adjustments to compensate for the rain fall. If you have hard packed or high clay content soil, Waterlogging can be a problem for your tree's root systems.
